The Joy Source has created another outstanding overnight retreat for women! Just imagine- a whole 24 hours to focus on your wants and needs!
Choose from a variety of workshops to learn how to achieve ultimate relaxation, rejuvenation and renewal. Visit the Vinotherapy Spa* and treat yourself to a day of head to toe pampering. Or sleep in late, scrapbook, finish that book on your nightstand, spend hours in the pool, Jacuzzi or sauna or take in the spectacular scenery. This is YOUR weekend to do whatever replenishes your spirit, relaxes your body and refuels your soul!
So put away the children’s schedules, the work deadlines and family responsibilities, the nonstop stress.
Stress can wreak havoc on your body, mind and spirit. It can weaken your immune system, make you tense and interfere with your ability to live life with joy and passion.
This is YOUR time- It’s all up to you!
Led by amazing and inspirational women who walk their talk every day, the wide variety of workshops on Saturday afternoon will help you learn ways to relax, awaken to your gifts, build authentic relationships, take care of your Self, look and feel better:
Julie McGrath, LICSW is a lifestyle speaker and founder of The Joy Source, where she encourages women to live a more joyful and purposeful life, discover and honor the truths within them and most importantly, live each day with a strong sense of purpose.
- Job Stress and Burnout: Should You Get Out or Go Back In? – When the alarm goes off in the morning, do you grumble and moan, dreading the start of another work day? Most of us deal with stress at our job- deadlines, productivity, demanding bosses, etc.- but sometimes the ‘grumbles’ turn dangerously into burnout. Learn to identify the differences and how to improve your attitude, choices and overall life so you can be happier, healthier and more effective at your job.
- The Art of Self Care- Eat your vegetables, get more sleep, run a mile, etc…we’ve all heard and tried the typical advice on Self care, yet we are still stressed and depleted. What is missing? Julie knows and she will show you how to build resiliency and coping skills that will provide you with the energy and passion for life!
Andrea Cohen of Full Circle Food Coaching is a mind-body nutrition counselor who believes that we should find pleasure and joy in food (especially chocolate fudge), not stress, guilt or shame.
- Why You’ll Never Diet Again!- What if there were a different way to look at food and healthy weight so you never had to diet again? Andrea will inspire you to adjust how you think about willpower and other nutritional myths, as well as inform you about power foods to keep you energized and shining!
Robyn Vogel, MA, LMHC blends self-empowerment relationship coaching with powerful and effective body-oriented tools to help women let go of obstacles that are in the way of living a deeply connected and intimate life.
- Creating and Maintaining Healthy Authentic Relationships- On Facebook, we can have hundreds of ‘Friends,’ but very few relationships…ones with active listening, intimacy and true connection. Robyn will help you enhance your communication and strengthen the bond with friends and loved ones so you don’t end up ‘defriended’ in real life.
Michelle Gallant uses her experience and training as a massage therapist, yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner to construct healing programs designed to listen to the body and reduce pain and tension.
- Stressful Days Release Away- Juggling all your responsibilities creates a body full of tension and now it is finally time to relax. Let Michelle help you restore your well-being! In this workshop you will learn breathing techniques combined with gentle yoga postures to release tensions held within the body. Yoga is proven to reduce signs of aging, tone muscles, detoxify the body, increase flexibility and enhance a zest for life!
- Be Free and Flow from the Heart and Soul- Come experience how powerful the imagination can be! Michelle will lead you in a guided meditation enabling you to identify energetic blockages in your body and bring in healing energy to help dissipate them. These are techniques you can do at home too!
Nancy Coleman knows there are a million ways to be beautiful and as an Independent Executive Senior Sales Director at Mary Kay, she has the tips and tools to help you find your path.
- Going from Bland to Sexy! Makeup Tips to Enhance Your Best Features (and Hide the Others)- Every woman is naturally beautiful, yet sometimes, we need a little help to hide the dark circles from too many late nights, ward off the signs of aging or jazz up our current look. Nancy will show you the latest in technique and color so you can boost your natural beauty.
Kathleen Hanagan, LCSW helps people learn to ignite their lives and businesses with creativity, enthusiasm and Soul, resulting in increased joy and pleasure and more money doing what comes naturally to them.
